Strategic advisor, Transformation expert, speaker, and founder of Tuckpoint Advisory Group

Deep Expertise in Transforming Teams and Organizations

With more than 20 years in roles across customer advocacy, marketing, technology, and service-channel operations, I’m a proud Transformation champion who’s committed to elevating organizations.

Throughout my career, I’ve been obsessive about finding the best way to do things. Whenever I hit a roadblock, I build a bigger ladder. That innovative attitude has fueled my career progression from product person turned Transformation expert, and as Founder and CEO of Tuckpoint Advisory Group

I have a knack for reading the room, gaining trust among leaders and internal teams alike, and deploying the right balance of EQ and IQ for maximum effectiveness. My insatiable curiosity for technology and drive to use it to find innovative solutions to business challenges is infused in everything I do – from steering Digital Transformations and breathing life into stalled initiatives, to helping organizations implement new operating models.

Here’s what you can expect from me:

  • I’m “practically creative” – an integrated, whole-brained thinker

  • A versatile champion of multiple disciplines – I quickly become a member of any team

  • My strongest skill is my present moment awareness, ability to hear what’s really being said, and capacity to read the room for what’s going unspoken (even in virtual meeting environments)

Change Driver and Connector

I am also a passionate advocate for and mentor of women in leadership roles in business, technology, non-profit, and social enterprises. I’m an active leader with Ellevate Network – Twin Cities, working to close the gender pay and leadership gap through programming and networking opportunities for our community.

I channel my commitment to and concern for education into my role as Board Chair for Adopt-a-classroom, a crowd-funding site that allows teachers to raise funds for needed classroom materials.

Other notable accolades:

  • Named the 2023 Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association, and recognized for fundraising efforts supporting women’s cardiovascular health.

  • Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal Women in Business awardee in 2021

  • TeamWomen Outstanding Mentor in 2021

  • “Jen has a passion for how strong product management can transform a company and a culture. Leading with practical experience, Jen helped TCF rapidly mature our product management practices, coached our leaders on how to lead empowered teams, and built incredible pride and confidence in the teams building products at TCF. What set Jen apart was her ability to connect with all levels of the organization, her drive to make progress, and her ability to meet us where we were at in our journey, delivering just what we needed at the time. I’ve worked with few consultants that have ever hit the mark so perfectly!”

  • ”Working with Jen is like getting a swift kick in the pants from your best friend. She is an empathetic, straight talker who knows that you already have the answer - you just need a push to dig deep and find it. She held me accountable, helped me see my situation from a new perspective to provide actionable, clear steps to help me move forward.”

  • “Jen Swanson just saved me a million dollars. I had become enamored with a product we had designed, thinking it was a potential blockbuster. We hired Jen to help us shape up the opportunity, conduct competitive research, and a product roadmap. After much due diligence, Jen came to the conclusion that the product, while interesting, did not have enough white space to be competitive. With that information and recommendations from Jen, we decided to discontinue pursuing the product as a standalone. I saved myself enormous expense and heartache in coming to this conclusion, and I couldn't be more grateful. This, to me, is the difference between a consultant who does the work and one that truly cares. I am indebted to Jen for her counsel.”
